Rescue of an academic vessel
TNG celebrates a colaboration agreement with CETMAR.
On March 10th, 2017, The General Management at Hutchison Ports TNG welcomed in its facilities to Mr. Jaime Romero, Director of the Sea Technologies Centre (CETMAR) and Mr. Raymundo Mata, representing the Secretary of Education, in order to set the bases of a collaboration agreement between both parties to conduct the rescuing of the vessel “Tecnico Pesquero I”, of 21 meters of length and 6 meters of breadth. This vessel was built at the shipyard in 1970, and was towed from Alvarado, Veracruz to Hutchison Ports TNG on March 22nd, for its repair.
The following will benefit the students at CETMAR, since they will now have a vessel in optimum conditions that will allow them to continue complementing their studies.
