According to the 74th articles of the federal work law, published in the official journal in 17 January 2006, the oficial mandatory holidays in 2008 are as follows:

January 1st – New Years

February 5th Mexican Constitution day

February 13th – Mardy Grass

March 19th Benito Juarez ‘s Birthday

April 29th and 30th Easter

May 1st – Labour day

September 16th Mexican Independence day

November 2 – All saint’s day

November 19TH Mexican Revolution

December 1st – Federal presidential broadcast

December 24th and 25th Christmas
