Hutchison Ports TNG has a Protection Plan for Port’s Facilities, in order to prevent either the Shipyard or vessels at Hutchison Ports TNG being used for transportation or storage of illegal substances, terrorists or weapons, besides the implementation of access controls, patrolling systems, restricted area care, which are maintained through coordination with Port authorities in the Port of Veracruz with participation of Veracruz’ Port Protection Committee.

At Hutchison Ports TNG the protection is governed by the International Ship and Port Facilities Security (ISPS), which aims to establish minimum requirements that a vessel or port facility must have to prevent its destruction, kidnapping or use as storage area or transportation of terrorists, illegal explosives or other hazardous materials.
